City of Kingston upon Hull LA

Kingston upon Hull LA have been successful in their Power to Innovate application to provide free school meals to all primary and special schools and pupil referral units in Hull.

IGCSE in English

Coventry City Local Authority

Coventry City Local Education Authority applied for the Power to Innovate to enable pupils to study for the International GCSE in English qualification. As a result, pupils in the LA who have recently arrived in the country and for whom English is not their mother tongue can take an internationally-recognised qualification helping them prepare for higher education.
