Open Roads, Open Minds

Open Roads, Open Minds Travellers' Storytelling Learning Resource is a DVD and resource pack which can be used with pupils from KS1 to KS4 and for INSET.

It links the live performance of professional Traveller Storytellers on a one-hour DVD with all texts and illustrations encoded on the DVD for immediate use on the white board and a Teacher's Handbook with ideas, texts, illustrative art posters of the stories which are painted by the international Roma artist, Ferdinand Koci, and photographic portraits of the Storytellers and Artist.

The pack has been created and developed with funding from The Innovation Unit and Education Leeds by the Travellers' Education Service. They have been helped and supported by the following Leeds' Primary and High Schools: Sacred Heart, St. Bartholomews, New Wortley Holy Family, Ingram Road, West Leeds High and South Leeds High.
