Introduction

Welcome to our project archives. In this area of the website, we have listed projects that are not generally mentioned elsewhere on the site.

In the first phase of the Unit's work, we responded to innovative ideas that were sent in from schools and other organisations. We had various criteria for selecting which projects were supported, including subjecting some proposals to a peer review process through our Innovation Exchanges. You can find out more about some of the projects we funded in the School based section.

We were also keen to respond to local solutions to local issues and also undertook work in particular localities with certain Local Authorities. Find out more about some of the projects we funded.
