Partnering multi-school Trusts and Collaboratives - Local innovation for the 21st Century
The Innovation Unit has a national reputation for successful partnership work with local leaders to develop radical innovation in their localities. These are leaders who seek to design new forms of collaborative working in order to achieve transformative and long-term improvements for learners, families and for the localities that they serve. They know that having foresight and vision is easy: turning vision into reality and taking others with you can be very challenging. External critical friendship and support can be of real benefit.
As a part of its Applied Next Practice work, The Innovation Unit is keen to work with a limited number of multi-school Trusts and collaboratives to support them to achieve their aspirations and radical purposes. The Specialist School and Academies Trust will assist all potential Trusts to achieve Trust status. The Innovation Unit's unique position is to help the most ambitious to utilise Trust status to enact real change.
