iLearn - asking pupils about personalised learning |
The Sorrell Foundation, funded by The Innovation Unit, explored pupils' views about five practical ideas that could contribute to personalised learning. The ideas were:
Workshops were run in 30 schools around the country. 30 pupils engaged with the research as advisers and they in turn became researchers as they then gathered more responses to the questions from a wider group of nearly 2,500 more pupils. The results differed according to the age and gender of the children. The most popular idea for primary girls was the Learning Diary, and for primary boys it was the Legacy project. For secondary girls it was the Legacy Project, and for secondary boys, it was Learning How to Learn. |
